Koinonia Family Services was founded in 1982. The agency is non-profit, state licensed, and accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Koinonia Family Services has 13 locations throughout the state of California, from which we provide various family services, including foster care and adoption. Koinonia Family Services has a full-service adoption license that allows the agency to provide domestic adoption services throughout the state. The agency assists with foster care adoption, private adoption, and stepparent adoption. For families who adopted through foster care, Koinonia also offers post-adoption wraparound services in 12 of their 13 locations.
